Storefront MediaProfile avatar images (PFP) and customized storefront banners uploaded by users, stored securely via Cloudflare R2 object storage.
Listings & OffersListing titles, descriptions, asking prices, categories, item photos, condition ratings, bidding history for short-term auctions (<72h), and peer offers.
Direct MessagesPeer-to-peer private messages exchanged between buyers and sellers to negotiate terms, ask product questions, and coordinate in-person exchanges.
Session CookiesCryptographically signed HTTP-only session tokens (JWT) to maintain your login state, UI theme preference (fm_theme), and tip dismissal flags.

Cloudflare Infrastructure & Media Storage

FreeMarket.page operates globally utilizing Cloudflare Edge Networks and Cloudflare R2 object storage:

  • Cloudflare R2 Object Storage: When you upload a profile avatar (PFP), storefront banner, or listing photos, these assets are stored in Cloudflare R2 buckets and distributed via content delivery networks (CDN) for fast loading.
  • Network Security & Edge Protection: Traffic is routed through Cloudflare to protect the domain against Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, malicious scraping, and automated abuse.

How Your Information Is Used

We utilize collected information strictly for operational and platform integrity purposes:

  • Peer Discovery: Displaying your public FreeMarket Page (e.g. freemarket.page/@handle) and active listings to local buyers in your county and state.

Data Retention, Editing & Account Rights

You maintain control over your storefront data:

  • Profile Updates: You can edit your display name, bio, trading location, social links, avatar, and banner at any time via Profile Settings.
  • Listing Management: You can edit, close, or delete your item listings and auctions directly from your Seller Dashboard.
  • Account Deletion: If you wish to permanently delete your account and associated public listings, you may request account termination by contacting support or initiating removal in your settings dashboard.

As FreeMarket.page evolves, we may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in legal requirements, security practices, or platform features.
